Team Member Profile: Robin

Our team members are an integral part of Garrette Custom Homes, a leading home builder in Portland OR. Anyone who purchases a home from us is going to be getting to know our team pretty well, since we work to keep you informed throughout the entire process. To give you a sneak peek at some of our fantastic team, we thought we’d do some profiles, so let us introduce you to Robin Stockwell, a new homes sales consultant.

Robin is a native of Colorado with plenty of time spent in both Colorado and Arizona before moving to Federal Way, WA, at 16 with her family. Although a recent member to our team, she’s now one of our new homes sales consultants for Pierce and Thurston Counties. As part of selling new homes, she meets with customers to discuss their projects and what a dream home means to them. In addition, a big part of her job is, “helping our customers through the home building process, starting with the land development all the way to completion.” It’s that kind of complete service that we’re so proud to offer. As well as selling homes, she also searches for and acquires land that could be appealing to potential customers who want to build on a great lot.

Prior to joining us, she worked for Richard Nicole Designs and was responsible for the sales and interior design of the hotels to whom they sold their exclusive furnishings. She worked with the company for 11 years before joining GCH, performing a variety of relevant responsibilities that includes sales and designs, purchasing, accounting, and office management. Along with holding her Washington State Real Estate Brokers license, she’s well-experienced in handling the variety of responsibilities involved in building and selling new homes.

When asked about her duties now, she explains, “A typical day involves meeting prospective customers to tour our model homes, connecting with customers to discuss their projects, reaching out to professional partners, searching for land in my target area, and assisting my teammates.” Assisting her fellow teammates is a big deal, but also something she really appreciates about working at GCH. “I love how helpful and gracious everyone is within the company. I love that upper management invests so much time and resources into their employees. It truly is a team…. and a family.”

We love having Robin as the latest addition to our family, and we think of our clients as family. We want everyone to come out of the experience happy and feeling like they’ve achieved their dream home for their own family. Robin certainly understands family; as well as being the mother of two daughters and one son, she’s also thrilled to be Mimi to her one-year-old granddaughter. When she’s not working or fulfilling her Mimi duties, she may also be playing with her five-year-old St. Bernard, Brody. Otherwise, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen, trying out new recipes. And when it comes to #teamtaco or #teampizza, she’s “#teampizza – and yes pineapple does belong on pizza!”
