On WA-14 E take exit 14 E for Union StW/2nd St W toward Washington 500 W. At the first traffic circle continue, straight on Frontage Rd. At the second traffic circle take the third exit and then a first exit at the third traffic circle for C Street. Take your first left onto 3rd Street and in 0.4 miles take a right onto NE 2nd Ave and then a left onto NE 3rd Ave. In 0.2 miles take a right onto N Shepherd Rd and then take your next left onto N LeBrun Blvd. In 0.3 miles, Spyglass Hill will be on your left.
The Rainier home design brings to mind the mountain of the same name with its many gabled roofs, like peaks of a mountain. Yet as with all Garrette Custom Homes, there are always options available, and for those who prefer an exterior with a lower profile, there are options for you, as well. The choice is always yours. If you do choose to use it as a living room, the space can connect directly to the dining room, making the whole area ideal for entertaining. Among the options for these two rooms are double doors on the living room and a solid wall between the living room and dining room, enabling homeowners to use the space in a way that feels best.
At the end of the entry hallway is a coat closet and the stairs that lead up to the second story. From there, the hallway leads you directly into the great room, which is ideal as a daily family room. Next to the great room is the kitchen with a large double-sink island with optional extension, perfect for casual meals, homework, or just sitting down with friends or family for a cup of coffee. The kitchen also features a walk-in pantry along with a butler’s pantry that features an optional sink and cabinet. The spacious kitchen also includes a large nook area that is perfect for more casual dining or as a great play area for kids. There’s also an optional extension for this area.
Just off the great room you’ll find the mud room with a door to the garage for convenience and cleanliness. A washer and dryer can even be fitted into the mud room area if desired. Next to the mud room is a powder room, and from there you find the entrance to the primary-on-the-main bedroom suite. With an optional bar door connecting the bedroom to the bathroom, you get plenty of style and space. The spa-like bathroom includes a tub, multiple separate shower options, a dual-sink vanity, separate water closet, and a very large walk-in closet.
The upstairs area of this two-story home includes three bedrooms, a large laundry room for convenience, a full bathroom, and a large linen closet. The full bathroom can also be arranged to serve as a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, connecting bedrooms three and four. Another option on this level is to leave one portion of the upstairs space open to the great room down below, creating a spacious and dramatic appearance. Alternatively, this space can be built up into a bonus room, complete with optional closet.
