The Sage home design is almost chameleon-like in how the multiple exterior choices seem to completely change the look of the home, while the interior remains fairly consistent with certain options and adjustments. With three to four bedrooms, including a master-on-the-main, two bathrooms, a two- to three-car garage, and 2544 square feet, the basic layout of this home appeals to a variety of owners. With the multiple exteriors ranging from traditional to farmhouse to modern Craftsman, this home can be put together to meet almost any buyer’s needs and tastes.
The home starts with great curb appeal and a welcoming front porch. The attractiveness continues inside this two-story home starting with the front door with transom and side windows that leads into a spacious entry that includes convenient access to both a powder room and a deep coat closet. There’s also a convenient door leading to the garage. To the other side of the entry is an arched entrance to the attractive dining room with optional tray ceiling. The entry hall then leads through another arched entrance into the open-plan living area of the home.
First is a nook area that could be used for more casual dining or could be used as a children’s play area, study area, or whatever suits your family’s lifestyle. To one side of the nook is a spacious kitchen with a large island with double sinks, and plenty of cabinets and counter space. There’s even a walk-in pantry, providing even more storage. Finally, in the back of the home, off the nook and kitchen is the great room with sliding glass doors leading outside, as well as additional windows for lots of natural light.
On the other side of the nook is the stairway up to the second floor, as well as the entrance to the master bedroom suite. The bedroom is spacious and leads into the en suite bathroom through a short hallway with a large closet on one side and a spacious walk-in closet on the other. The walk-in closet has an extra area set back with the option of using it to contain a stackable washer and dryer for added convenience. The bathroom has a large dual-sink vanity, a separate water closet, and a shower/bathtub.
Finally, upstairs, you’ll find two to three spacious bedrooms off a central stairwell that is open to below. The third bedroom can be used as a loft area instead, great for older children to have a place to hang out, play video games, or even use as a study area. The space could also be used by the family as an exercise room, hobby room, etc. Upstairs, you’ll also find a full bathroom, a linen closet, laundry room, and an extra storage room.
